She was able to put her experiences into writings that have become classics. She was known for her light-hearted attitude, cheerfulness and good spirits.

When she was 65 years old, in 1580, she had only 2 more years to Live. Her health was very poor from years of work and serving the Lord. She reformed the Carmelites, established new convents, as well as a branch for men. Her work brought her many opponents and critics.

She died in 1582 in the town of Alba de Tormes in Spain. She was canonized in 1622, and declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope Paul IV in 1970.

She believed that anything was possible. She believed that Life meant to be committed to something bigger than herself. She believed in a Life with a purpose. I am adding this Prayer onto my web site, where you can download and copy it for your own inspiration.

So before the book and DVD the "Secret" was printed, Saint Teresa was working, inspiring and helping millions of people all over the world.

Prayer of Intention


May today there be peace within.
May you Trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the Infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the Love that has
been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
May you let this Presence settle into your bones.

May your Soul allow you the freedom to sing, dance, praise and Love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
